How do I socially bookmark an academic site?

The challenge I am facing is trying to socially bookmark an academic site. In all of the social bookmarking sites I have seen, it seems to me like they want funny/headline news articles to promote. The site I am promoting doesn't specialize in that, (as you can see in my sig, its a language site). It basically has grammar theory, vocab, dialogues, and not really 'headline news' type of things.

Any ideas for how I can get in? Alternatives for link development? I have submitted to tons of directories & posted comments on blogs... but I'm trying to hit all angles :confused:

Promoting it on stumbleupon will certainly get your site visitors. I suggest picking one of the pages that explains something simple about Spanish, like simple phrases or often made mistakes.
