It is essential for a business to have a website. I believe that having your own domain name shows that you or your business is established and reliable. A free sub-domain like whatever.blogspot.com or worst whatever.cjb.net will give a bad impression because many sites using such free domains are low quality, you don’t want to relate you or your business to low quality.

So, if you don’t already have a domain name, read my guide on choosing a good domain name (http://omicra.com/choose-a-good-domain-name). If you already own a domain name, you still should read it for some ideas on why and how a domain name is good. Random examples are also inserted to help stimulate ideas.

This is what I learned, and I believe it will help a newbie just start out, a lot!

Comments are welcomed!

yes, domain should be related in a static site. But bloggers can choose any domain name in their site. Because content is the king in nowadays.
