If you make a post on Yahoo Answers and under the reference part place a link to your site it will be indexed in 2-3 days tops. This has worked for a few sites of mine so far.

Yahoo Answers uses rel:nofollow now so that isn't possible anymore.
Getting indexed in Yahoo takes around 2 weeks.
Getting decent traffic from yahoo can take many months

Really since when? I did this like a month ago and 2 days after I posted the link I was in yahoo. Plus does Yahoo even recognize nofollow? I though that was only google.

It's already a few months like that.
Are you sure your link wasn't listed somewhere else on the internet? Maybe the spiders picked it up from another place?

Actually this is what i have heard about yahoo.
They take really long long time to show your site. But when they get your site....you get nice results.Thats why I was eager to know about yahoo.Google results are volatile. They fluctuate.
