A few days ago the Linkdomain command on Yahoo stopped working for me. All I get now are internal links .. nothing external.

I figured it out. Its something browser related. It works fine in IE. Hmmm...

I had some problems yesterday and today when running backlink checks on many sites, but it seems to fix itself in about 15 minutes and I can start again. Not sure what is going on, I hope it does not go down for any real length of time I really count on it.

It works in neither IE or FF for me.

I've read of other people having issues with that command too.

the links weren't showing up for me if I used linkdomain:domain.com instead of linkdomain:"www".domain.com... with out the quotes

Interesting,

When I perform the normal Yahoo backlink check ...

linkdomain:mysite.com

... all that's returned are internal links.

When I format the Yahoo backlink check as such ...

linkdomain:mysite.com -site:mysite.com

... I get the external links (about half of them).

Something is screwy, or there's a new preference or other setting that I'm not aware of.

I had the same issue. The first thing I noticed is that I could not use

linkdomain:mysite.com

instead I now have to use

linkdomain:www.mysite.com

the other thing I noticed is that every day it shows different results.

One day it showed 2900 inlinks

next day 2400

today 2600

?

I had the same problem. Signing out of Yahoo resolved it.

Oh yes! Thats it! I signed out and it works a treat now. This is why it only worked in IE because i never used IE to login into Yahoo. Thanks a lot! :D
