If the site gets banned, it still spiders it but you don't get any ranking, let's say you find the problem that got the site banned and fix it - what to do now in order to get it unbanned?

I haven't had any luck with it, but some people have....
It doesn't seem that Yahoo bans sites too often..... They do like to "filter" them out of the serps though....
I guess this is their way to say "Your not banned" "Look there is your site, right there"
So they do not have to hear it..... It's obviously a safer way to boot you...

I tried both of the contact points mentioned above. I found better success in getting a "real" response from a real person from using the reportspam email address. The rereview form would always give me the same canned automated response.
In any event, after 5 months of pestering them, my HOMEPAGE is finally back in the index and ranking decent. But none of my other pages are showing up yet.
I guess it is a start! In any case, I would recommend being persistent. It may pay off.

fix the reason you got banned for and wow, you will beat the filters again!!

yes I get it, but they question is how often will they check the site - I aleady fixed everything... so how soon can I expect to get back in the rankings again?
