Hello All,

I'm not sure if it has happen to you yet, but out of personal experience - my ads for www.DevelopAll.com were slow and google suggested to "Activate" which I did a number of times till I got to the point where I was paying more for activation vs. the actual clicks.

So I decided not to activate them anymore -- guess what - my ads began to still show - not all the campaigns - but at least I don;t pay $5 each 3 Activation attempts - which will happen every 3 days;
Each and everyday so far googleads were renewing my status and showing my ads....

I hope it was helpful to ALL...

Rgds,

He's talking about ads that get slowed or disabled due to a poor CTR. If your ads aren't good enough to attract clicks this happens if you don't keep testing fast enough - and sometimes that can be pretty tough if your chosen phrases get impressions too quickly. Had that happen a time or two myself before I got the hang of AdWords and that I didn't need to reactivate, just change things.

Right, I see.

Well, they get disabled for a reason. They aren't quality ads so to me that's an indication of you doing it wrong on that particular one. Just get rid of it and start again.

why should you have to activate again, thats a bit too unfair, you could just change the ads without having to reactivate and pay more money.

Then again, maybe the ads werent of a good enough quality, google were ashamed to see them on their sites

In my own experience, google still display ads and you can get clicks from inactive keywords
