...will i be locked out of my account for a few weeks?

I am just wondering, because i don't think my email here is upto date.

I am not sure why you would think you would be locked out for changing your email. I changed mine a few weeks ago and nothing drastic happened. People update emails all the time so I can not see what problems there would be.

Ya, I think it's silly to ask a question before you even knew for sure what email you were using. It only took 30 minutes for you to discover that it was a current one. Wouldn't it have been a lot easier to just look first before starting this thread?

If i do change my email to my current one, will it be added to the moderation queue, and how long will it take to get it verified?

It can take a day or a few weeks.
