Hi guys,
just wondering how much you think i could sell the following domain for:
http://www.seotips.net/
I snapped it up a few months ago and haven't done anything with it yet. I was considering setting up a mini site and selling it on.
Thanks in advance
Alan

I'm probably not the best person for this but the domain name has a very strong presence.
I would think of a price i feel confortable selling the domain and probably add the costs I have spent to keep or maintain it.

ok thanks for the comments and advice i think i'll look at developing it into a mini site and see how much interest it develops and go from there
if it's going to get more $$$ in the long run i think it's worth putting a site there
cheers

Personally the way it is right now i would give maximum $60, but it has a great potential so develop it and you'll be able to get it going at $200 easily.

thanks for the comments guys and the vote of confidence, hopefully i'll devlop it into a mini site at first and see how it goes from there, what kind of factors affect a domain most and increase it's value? backlinks? age? popularity in general?
cheers, Alan ;)

I would say backlinks, quality backlinks can really boost up the overall value

Its not unrealistic to start at $250; its brandbable and might be a nice addition to another developer with a similiar name or site concept.

Mid $xxx if you develop it and get some good, quality back links to it then high $xxx or more

The name is short and also very promising .. You should get atleast in $xxx range and if the site is developed you could get in range of xxxx ..

I'd say at least $100-$200 undeveloped. possibly even more if you found the right buyer

You should add some more information to the website that would give it more value and invest your time on marketing it.
You can get a great deal of traffic from stumbleupon and search engines if you have the right methods
