I'm not sure if you'd be willing to reveal this, or even if you have the information available, but how much of a change was there in overall weight across the network once it was calculated after the PR update?
I just saw an increase in my weights but I haven't noticed much of a change in how often they're displayed at all.. is this why? or am I just making assumptions about the number of "new sites" that were using the network?

Well, there are a lot of things that are causing the total weight to go up... The ability to run multiple ads per site was a big one, new sites joining the network every day, and also the PR update that just happened. But to answer your questions, the total network weight as of right now is 2,929,431.
As far as seeing your ads more often after a large weight change, it can take 100 hours for full deployment across the network because of the way the caching system only requests one new ad per hour (and caches 100).

I’m not sure if I’m being inpatient or not but I joined the Ad Cooperative one week from today and I haven’t seen any evidence that my ad had shown. I also haven’t seen any benefit in my serps using the keyword tracker tool.
I check for new backlinks every day using the linkdomain:My_URL.com command in Yahoo. Is there a better way to check for back links from the Coop Ad program?

well, first off...
it can take a while to influence the serps. more than a week for sure.
second, google and yahoo don't update their backlinks too often.
third, how much weight do you have?

Almost 1500. Not sure if that is good or bad

It took about 2 weeks before I noticed good improvements in the SERPs, but it was worth the weight... :D

Hi Harold,
I believe if you divide your "Back weight by the Total Network Weight" you arrive at a percentage % of times your ad will show.
Example: 1500 / 2929431 = 0.000512044831

Well, if you multiply that number by 100, you'll get your %... so if you had a weight of 1500, your % would be .05%, not .0005% ;) So if you had a weight of 15,000, you would have .5%, etc...
