Burstable RAM ?

Hello All,

May be some of you already know this , but for those who dont know i would like to share the exact meaning of Burstable RAM.

Burstable RAM is RAM your VPS has the ability to use but isn't guaranteed to. Basically it's for spikes in usage not consistent usage like Guaranteed RAM.

You can check burstable RAM and Gauranteed RAM by using following command

cat /proc/user_beancounters Privvmpages is burstable RAM, vmguarpages is guaranteed RAM

Example :
