Need some quick opions/thoughts

Hey, I'm pretty new here, I run http://www.freestufftimes.com basically just a free stuff website. In the past 6 months or so I dropped my google pagerank from 4 to 3, not sure why. I have more visitors than I did then, so I'm not very worried, I just can't figure out why. I have tried to improve it by having my site linked on other sites and directories, but that might take a little longer to go into effect. Tell me what you think.

Google has been acting quite weird over the past few months and i have friends that have lost page rank also and even one of my own sites went from a 4 to a 3, but on the other hand ive heard stories of pagerank jumping up from 4 to 6... Im guessing it will all go back to normal soon enough.

Any thoughts on my adsense layout? I am not getting the best ctr, although it has improved..

very simple indeed by looks. as i dont see any major graphics use or logo, title.
also updating ur site skin will be a good option.
i think u can put 2 ads of 120 x 600 on right side where u already have 1
