Have you seen it yet?
Also, have you noticed most black critics have been pretty hard on this movie, but most white critics have said stuff like, "it's good. not near as good as hussle and flow but good."

I didn't even know it was out before Friday?
I consider myself a frequent movie-goer, watching about 2 opening night films per month (at least 1 if not 2). This is one I'll probably wait a while to see, I despise 50 cent, Eminem, Dr. Dre and everyone else continuing to turn good rap music into pop music.

Yeah I'm not real excited about seeing it either.
I vary in my movie watching frequency. This summer I would go one day a week and watch 4 or 5 in a row, but sometimes I'll go a month without going to the movies.
I had been just renting a lot of stuff; independents and foreign mainly.

What about the thousands of attempted suicides during the movie.

Aeon Flux, Loved the Cartoon, Love Charlize Theron, not sure that Aeon Flux will transfer well to the screen. She did alot of things that I am just not seeing possible for live action. I could be wrong and have been on many occasions :)

Does anyone watch that showbiz show with david spade on comedy central (I think)? he had someone at one of those red carpet things who yelled out to 50 cent for an interview. He was yelling out something like - The movie was a lot better the first time, when it was called 8 mile.
The look on 50's face was too funny.
Personally, I love America for this reason. Only in this country can a former crack dealer become a famous rap artist who raps about raping women then turn into a movie star *wipes a tear* its truly a wonderful story.

I think it was after that skit, wasn't it? I don't remember now. I never remember the show is on, and I just happened to catch it. The fruit dude was kinda funny too.

the showbiz show is funny.
I think the best red carpet thing ever was when some kid asked Pauly Shore a few years ago what he was up to.
Pauly (happy anyone was even talking to him): just taking a break
kid: for 10 years?
Pauly got mad and acted like he was going to beat the kid up and said something rude to him and then ran off.

Who's to blame? The man or the millions of people paying him? ;)

I blame the consumer personally. They are the ones who drive it.

Yeah, it is getting out of control here in the US. Whenever someone stops a movie because a person gets murdered is so ridiculous.

In normal movies, you get the fake movie introduction with a cell phone in the middle and someone telling everyone to make sure their phones are off.
In this movie; you have a sex scene being shown but its interrupted with lots of gunfire; then someone warning the audience to make sure the safety is on or at least the guns unloaded before the movie starts.
