Ok, you may hve seen the odd rant recently from me about how Yahoo has dropped ALL of my top keywords. It has lasted for about 3 or 4 weeks. This morning I thought I would email them, using the reinclusion request form. Didn't think anything of it and 4 hours later my keywords (not checked them all yet) are more or less back in the positions they were before being dropped!!

A pleasant surprise to say the least!

Unfortunately not everyone is that lucky and some have to wait forever to get back into Yahoo. Congrats to you.

You got a reply too? You must have a horseshoe in your pocket. ;)

Never any luck WG? My site is up to 500 pages indexed now and I am seeing decent traffic. Sorry to hear that they haven't picked you up yet.

I got tired of waiting and decided the blow to the monthly revenue was enough to pay out some money and go with Yahoo site match or whatever it is called now. Money talks and I finally have more than the index page showing as indexed.

We gave up and started using Sitematch as well, it's a great racket, I just wish I was on the other side of it ;)

Maybe that's what I need to do then. I have 30k indexed, was in the top 3 for all my major keywords, joined Sitematch and then figured it wasn't worth it to do both so dropped sitematch. Then my organic listings tanked. What a racket...

Oh...and then they without hesitation renewed my annual "forgotten about" Directory listing a couple weeks later -- which does absolutely nothing for me even though I'm the most popular in my category.

If your site has been de-indexed, site match proved to be a good way to fix that.

Yeah Our sites had been de-indexed prior to the update and now we have hella pages indexed, not cached yet but indexed and I think sitematch had something to do with that.

I am still waiting for it to spread into the rest of the site but the pages I submitted to site match are indexed.
