Just read about the 10% in the other thread.

Haven't yet signed up for this.. was just thinking 10% is a huge amount. Since Chitika is vague about exact payouts like Adsense, what are the chances that a good portion (if not all) of this 10% is being deducted from the other guy's earnings and given to the affiliate.. similar to how the co-op ad network takes from one account and gives the 10% to the other.

Any thoughts on this?

No. When you refer new publishers, they makes the same revenue that they would normally make and Chitika pays you for your efforts. So, if you do not mind, you can use my referral link in my signature. :p

Chitika only pays out 60% of the revenue, so they have a pretty decent margin in order to afford to pay out the 10% for the first year.

Do you have any other website? Try to apply with another website. Hopefully you can be accepted by Chitika soon.

It's a above board - they've got nothing to lose by giving the 10% referrals...that leaves them plenty for themselves. These guys are above board as far as I can see - they'd be crazy not to be.
