Chitika offers a 10% referral program...how much have people made?

I've been using chitika and refering people...how much have you made?

whoever i signed up through is doing pretty good. I am seeing about 4x income in forums.

I have only tested it in forums so far.

Uh.. I don't understand that, can you see what the person you signed up through generates?

They get 10% what you do so you can work it out. I've earned a couple of dollars so far.

I know, what puzzled me was this whoever i signed up through is doing pretty good.

Sounds to me like Shoemoney signed up using a referral id and can see what they make, or is my english just failing me here?

Shoemoney is saying he is making a lot of money with them, therefore the person getting 10% is getting a lot ;)

I'll make a few hundred dollars this month purely from referrals. But then I've been actively promoting the program, advertising, posting in places like this and - most importantly I believe - have created a useful Chitika resource for webmasters (link in my sig).

From my experience
1. If you just have the affiliate code in your sig you'll be lucky if you get more than one or two referrals a month (if that!). You have to actively promote it in other ways.
2. Most of those who apply get approved.
3. Over 80% of those who get approved are active.
4. Among those who are active most don't make more than a few dollars.
5. About one in 50 is a bigger player and you notice the jump in your stats when he joins - particularly if he's on a new Chitika account you've created (did I mention I have several accounts?)
6. If you want to get a lot of free Google traffic from Chitika related keywords some sites like problogger and - to a limited extent sites like mine - are already ranking pretty well for everything from "chitika help" to "Chitika vs Adsense"

Well, whoever posted that Smart People use Chikita Adsense banner on this site must be doing OK off it. I bet he's had a few sign ups from here, and he got my referral...

Then again I'm not making much with it. :D

He is asking members to use his referral link and if you ever been to http://www.theadminzone.com you know its quite big.So far, so good. :) As I indicated in This Thread (http://www.theadminzone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15669), all revenues from these referrals are being reinvested into TAZ, for site upgrades, customization, and increased advertising to bring in even more traffic.

My referral income is not stable at all. Sometime is $0.50 and sometime can increase upto $4 per day

I'm usually around $0.80 a day from referrals. Not bad I guess for not really doing anything.

Now I'm making about $5.00/day with my own ads and about $1.00/day with referrals
