If you want to promote your site using SEO you need to start with basics – your meta tags and target keyword selection would be a good place.
You’ll find a ton of info in this forum. I would suggest reading through the posts and implementing the info you find to be applicable.
Also, I take it the site is still under construction…none of the links on the page are active except for the E-Bay links.

yes it is still under construction - I am now trying to find a way to change menu items without changing each and every page...

Not sure what your hosting on, but you should be able to use an include file for your menu. In a Windows ASP environment it's like:
<!-- #include file="yourfilehere.htm" -->
There are more options, such as virtual= vice file= and you can include .asp, .txt, etc.
The way it works is you have one file that comprises your menu and you include that file on every page. Then when you need to update your menu, you make the change to your one file and it shows up everywhere.

I should be on a *nix server if I am not wrong because I am using cPanel - what can I do in this case?
By the way, if I use things like dHtml or includes, will this affect google from indexing my site and keywords? especially in the menu bar?

YOu should be able to use php then, though I don't know php myself. I don't believe it will affect Google indexing. I use server side include on all my sites for navigation and Google and other engines seem to be finding all my pages. I think that's becasue a server side include is just that - the file is included on teh server and THEN sent to the client, as opposed to a javascript include where the javscript file is uploaded to the client along with the page code and then included. Most spiders (though not all) see client side version so as to replicate what the user sees, so hencse will see a server side include as a native part of the page.
