A campaign I created 2 weeks ago has been performing awful. Lot of impressions, 7% CTR .29% conversion at $189.63 cost per.
The search term that had been burning all the money was "plus size corsets"
I checked my hittail tracker, and it appears that our ads were being served for just "corsets". In fact, rarely did I see any for "plus size corsets". I did a search on corsets myself and sure enough.. there was my ad being served every time.
From the Google FAQ , I interpret it should not work that way. I also find it odd that I had "bbw corsets" and "diva corsets" broad matched, and they had practically zero activity. From what I have understood from the Google FAQ, one of those should have been broad matched to "corsets" before "plus size corsets"
What would be the point of broadmatching a multiple word phrase if it considers one word without the others a match?
Would appreciate opinions on this.
