Earnings Declining?

Hello,

Is it just me or adsense earnings are declining these days? I used to have an average eCPM of around $0.75, now it's around $0.50 (Yes, it is a big difference)

Did anyone experience this decline?

It's normal for my Adsense earnings to jump all over the place, but for the last few weeks my Adsense has been in a freefall.. Today looks like it might be another record BAD DAY for Adsense. I just chalk it up to the summer-slump.
To keep from going broke I diversify my earnings with Kontera (http://grownupgeek.blogspot.com/2007/06/supplement-your-adsense-earnings-with.html), CJ (http://www.cj.com), and Auction Ads (http://grownupgeek.blogspot.com/2007/05/secret-to-making-money-with-auctionads.html).. This way even with a horrible Adsense day, my overall earnings aren't so bad and i can leave the rope and wobbly-stool in the closet for another day..

Anyway, don't bother over 2-3 days of low earnings. AdSense jumps all over. One of my proxies had a record day about 2 days ago, and proxies are supposed to die now.

observing the same thing near end of May to now ... i was just thinking maybe the MFAers are no longer there to compete with prices so the price drops but it doesn't make much sense since MFA dont pay high anyway.

yep earnings declining too... ecpm dropped from 3.00 to 2 and even 1.9 .. went from making 50-60 a day to making 30~.... it sucks!

Normal AS days for me are $90 - $100 .. yesterday was $46 :mad:

This is my worst Adsense month ever. My normal eCPM is around $3.5 to $5. For the last couple of months it even touched $8 at one point.

But now it is all gone. Now the eCPM is just $0.75 to $1. I hope Google does something about this. Lots of publishers are suffering this month.

Today is a record low for me for the YEAR!

I have never seen it this BAD!

With the Google targeting MFA's and Ebay pulling their ads, maybe there is some connection. :mad:

google adsense is hitting a big low for me ...from $15-$20 a day i hv slumped down to $5-$10a day...very bad month!!!!:(

I am getting more click and more earnings the last days :)
I don't think if some people's earning fall that means it is for every body, and we all know the earnings are not stable at all

NYTimes reported recently that internet sales are at a slowdown.

The major items like books, tickets, and office supplies seem to be hit. It is also predicted that this slowdown will last a while.

This slowdown doesn't seem to be affecting my market as of yet, as I am still maintaining my 6-8$ ecpm daily.

I know that eCPM goes up and down every day, but this time it just seems to go down and down and never up again. From 10-12 bucks it is now down to 5-6 which really sucks.
Not only is the eCPM down, hits are down with all their latest changes. Not sure Google AdSense or even Google is the way to go anymore.
I'll be looking into something more "stable" and skip AdSense all together. It's just a PIA most of the time.
Speaking about hits down, they repeatedly report less Page impressions than I have in my stats and yesterday was an all time low with 3000 page impressions different from my stats. I'd like to see an audit of Google's stats...

This month looks like it will be my best Adsense month ever. Since February my Adsense earnings only went up, and that's not just because i get more visitors, eCPM is slowly going up too while i didn't change much to my sites.

Maybe that also cause that many people apply for adwords and adsense so it getting lower rate
