To My E-Commerce friends....

I'm pondering spending the $299 to get into the Yahoo directory for my e-commerce site. Now obviously forgetting the "will my site get better rankings in Yahoo" question that has been asked here on many occasions, I'm more curious to know if those of you who also run an e-commerce site and purchased a listing actually noticed an increase in sales as a result.

I'm just trying to justify parting with $299 that I could try spending on Overture instead as we try to increase sales, so I appreciate the feedback.

23 of 36 sites above me for a competitive phrase are in teh directory. I am not in e-commerce but I can't help wondering about the difference it would make to my results. If only it wasn't so expensive!
