Well its like adsense. You can use your adsense code on any site that does not violate adsense TOS. If your site does not get accepted that does not mean it breaks the rules. My original website that i used to sign up to adsense with is not even there any more. I still use the same account on my other websites and i get paid fine. So i dont see anything wrong with that.

well, apparently they don't like forums, or sites that are mainly forums?
i get lots of registered traffic and over 1500 new posts a day so size and actiivty aren't an issue.
fastclick have also rejected me :P
Fastclick dont accept forums period.
A client of mine just got rejected too and that is a diving site. Hard to see what Chitika can find objectionable in it but there you go. It's a pity because she had already done her homework and had a list of products she thought would be relevant to the site and of interest to visitors.

It seems like they are missing a real opportunity here...Why not create form letters where only 1 thing is specified (or the ability to add a few) plus explanations.
It would allow their advertiser base to fix the issues and deliver quality traffic
By the way, I wish Google did more to review possible advertisers...I might even turn "content" back on in my AdWords campaigns

Exactly! Privacy policy is a one minute fix for example.
Hi SVZ,

Your url is htp:// instead of http://
You have a great site, I'd re-apply with the correct url.

I agree, they should be more picky. I also have content turned off on my adwords.
However, with both Chitika and Adsense, it wouldn't stop people who have one "respectable" site from applying with that one, then putting it it on their scraper and spam sites.

I submitted a hobby site and it was rejected. So I sent Chitika an email, pointing out that one of the pages is 100% targeted at an electronic product that Chitika has ads for, and that that page is #1 in Google SERPS.
Next day got a personal email of acceptance from Chitika, wishing me good luck. Sure enough, I've done quite a bit better on that page with Chitika than with Adsense.
Bottom line: If your site is rejected and you've got a good case, you can Reply to the rejection with a polite, factual request for reconsideration and your site may be accepted.
