Hi,
Looking for some general advice - my Spanish property site is currently a PR3, I am aiming to get to PR4 sometime this year and hopefully PR 5 next year, what do you think is the best way to achieve this? The site has over 700 pages and some good unique content. Yahoo currently shows 2,179 backlinks (linkdomain:mysite.com) and google 62.
I have recently submitted to around 1,000 free directories and am currently getting about 10 approvals per day. I was thinking of doing some submissions to paid directories with high PR category pages - would this help?
I do also submit articles on a regular basis although this has been put on hold to do the directories recently.
Any advice would be gratefully received.

Do reciprocal links still have much benefit? I was under the impression that one way links was generally the way to go. I have been avoiding reciprocal links for some time - I do get regular requests from related sites.

something that has worked great for our sites are press releases through PRWEB. it has built a continious stream of links....i mention this because it seems you haven't done it. think of something creative about your properties or real estate etc.......hope that helps

You have got everything right, but fo you to keep going its best that you look for some high PR links. Having a few quality related reciprocal links doesnt hurt at all.

if you want a pr 5 web site, you need links from pr 5+ web sites. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=315153 can be a good start for you

Well you can do three things simultaneously .
1. Do some reciprocal link exchanges with 100% relevent site (links should be pr 2 atleast .)
2. Try to build some one way link exchanges . This will really help you to boost your pr and if the link quality is well then genuinely help your serp as well.
3. If budget permits then try to buy some high pr links (pr 5, pr 6 , Pr 7) .
4. Try to get some article links as well .
If you can do this consequently and in a faster manner then surely your site wil be there.
Looking forward to other members reply as well .
Regards to you all.
