_What's the Best way to Internally link a 500 page website?

What is the best way to internally link a website with 500 content(article) pages? link them all to each other? so that they will benefit SEO aswell. (N.B. my pages will be SE Optimized)

I know I have to use a sitemap, but how will I link every page to each other, etc..

Please use this example, niche = vegetables. This site will have 100 article/content pages on the following vegetables.

Example (made up website)...
www.VEGETABLES_4_u.com

-Carrot =100 pages
-Tomatoes =100 pages
-Cabbage =100 pages
-Potato =100 pages
- Sweetcorn = 50 pages
- pepper= 50 pages

=500 pages total.

Now using that example, how would I link that for Easy navigation, and
Easy user use.

Any good ideas, which will benefit SEO..

I'd create category pages, say, potatoes.html where I would place links to all potatoe pages(50) and to the homepage again.
Then I would recoomend that on every potatoe page you place a link to homepage, and to the potatoe "category" page.
Then I would place 5-10 links to other potatoe pages. Make it cycling.

But hey, how do you make 50 original potatoe pages which have unique text? Is it possible at all? I mean what do you have to tell about potatoes that will be 50 pagel long?

mashed potato
growing potatos
buying good potatos

Well, then it would be wise to link pages for recipies of different vegetables in addition to what I said in my previous post:
growing potatos -> growing cabbage -> growing tomatos -> etc.
potato recipes -> cabbage recipes -> tomatos recipes -> etc.
