I've just wrecked myself, I've created a site generates directory names from data, and allows directory names with periods. The hosting [linux] allows that, but when I ftp back and forth to Win98, I lose the periods, and destroy the integrity of the site links.
Is there any way to force a period into a directory with win98 using programming?
