www.pagerankwars.com is a web site declaring war against people with unlimited resources like paying for a 9 page rank site to link itself.

it is worth to look at and index your page.

But there are many other ways of doing this, directory submissions, article submissions, link exchange, blog comments.

A sig link from DP will index a site in a few days :)

Ok, I see what is happening, submit a link using the input boxes, it then creates a link in the post below. Now if your site was a PR9, I might consider entering one of my own URLs. Like the lottery concept even if it has no real purpose. :)

i heard that getting links from places like this doesnt really help your ranking at all (true? false?) also read one SEO blogger that said it might actually hurt your standing (and put you in the pergatory of google)

anyone confirm those claims (or deny) with a blog actually written by a google person?
