I just saw that I was hit by the Survey Bot yesterday. Huh? Do you see this whois bot in your logs?

That bot is from whois.sc

Go to http://www.whois.sc/sprinttotal.com for example, it will show you the details about that URL. Very usefull...

It also has a very nice meta tag...

Useful for .com, .biz .us websites but does not cater for .UK, .fr, .de, .it etc
nor does it respect robots.txt

survey bots ramdonly access sites to estimate network performance. I remember I read somewhere. I saw the bot a few times a month
