I'll admit I'm not some expert with PPC or CPA programs, but I'm definitely not a total newbie either. I've had an account with Azoogle for the past month or so, and here are the stats:
180 Clicks
1 Lead
$1.35 in earnings.
I don't get a TON of traffic, but I mean... a .0055% conversion rate is pretty pathetic. I've tried a number of different ads ranging from Blockbuster to ringtones to Gamefly to free ipods, and the only one that converted was a free iPod ad that paid out on an email submit. My site is focused on iPods and related Apple / mp3 player products. I don't use AdWords to drive traffic because I don't really make that much with Adsense anyway. Is AdWords the key to driving traffic and subsequently leads? I mean, if I'm gonna use AdWords in the hopes that my leads go up, 1 in 180 is a terrible conversion rate.
If anyone wants to see my site I will post the URL later.
The other thing that kind of shocks me is that all these people say that they talk to their account managers every other day or so... My account manager emailed me when I got accepted, and never contacted me at all until I had an issue with a broken ad and I had to contact her on AIM. Should I get another manager? I've never received any advice from my current manager, and what she did tell me to do was something that I had already done.
Thanks for the help guys, I hate to sound like I'm looking for the magic key because I'm not, but pointing me in the right direction is greatly appreciated.
