linking to non related sites

i was offered a pr 4 link and a pr 3 link to link to a site totally unrelated to my website. Do i take him up on the offer? Also, the links i would be getting are unrelated too. my site is a pr 5 now. I'd link to him from a pr 4

Unrelated reciprocal linking? You'd hardly have any benefit at all... on the other hand, can't do you no harm, so only if you're short on outbound links why not...

If you think about it, someone is only going to click on your link if they're interested. Just because they're on an unrelated site doesn't mean they wouldn't be interested in yours. I would go for it.

Sometimes I hop from a music site right into an online store. Just depends on the links I see or whatever ideas happen to pop into my head at the time.
