--warning-- newbie ...removing a background radio in sound forge or vegas

i have made this recording, and im about to edit it in vegas 6, but there is this radio playing in the background of the footage. how do i remove it or just lower the noise a bit.
i thought sound forge would be a good buy, to do this in.

Umm you are probably at the wrong site for this, but I would suggest you get cubase, it's about the best audio recording/editing suite out there for windows machines. What you need to do to get rid of the background sounds is zero in the their frequecies and clip them. Background radio is going to be pretty hard. :)
