There could be lots of reasons, if the same people click your ads all the time then Google will know it and also it depends on the ads, if you have a load of MFA ads then you get screwed over bigtime.
Also if you have too many ads on a page you will end having lower paid ads being clicked.

Its probably because your site has been smartpriced. This is where the cpc of ads clicked on your account is adjusted to account for the low conversion of te visotres that click through from your site(s). I am not saying this is th case, but its one possibilty.

Try to use the competitive filter to block some of the MFA sites.
However if you're being smart priced there is little you can do...

disagree.if you're smartpriced it's because of low conversions, and this has a reason : it could be too agressive ads placement for exemple, or tricking visitors into clicking an ad thinking it's a menu.
remove the reason, conversion will go back up, and smarpricing out of the door.

Well if someone is ripping you off you have two choices:
1. Write them and ask them to help you NOT GET RIPPED OFF
2. Quit.

Unfortunately with AS, there's next to nothing you can do about it, I'd recommend switching to another network, or taking adsense off for a while.

it looks like the o.p. has forum sites, so isn't a penny per click about normal? it's a worst-case scenario.

Like someone mentioned, you can still change the situation of the smartpricing. Remove all the adsense ads, write up more content, decide another place to place your ads, get some more target visitors by increasing your serp, and then place back your ads.

its "adsense" and you should try to block some MFA sites if you notice them showing up on your ads :)

maybe check your code if there is anychange in it or check the click number to see the ratio compare to before. ^^ Google got good and bad days just now might be the latter one be patience.

2 questions what are mfa sites and what is smartpricing?

Mfa sites are made for adsense sites. they usually dont have any useful content on them and just display ads so users would click on them :P

No, your revenue doesn't depend on the channels.
Channels help you to optimize your ads placement.

that's what is happening for some of my sites, what I'm doing is moving these sites to adbrite :)

I started to use Adbrite I like the idea of being able to sell ad space should make a bit more, they have a very low click price tho only 5 cent tho the impressions are a good way to make a bit every time I get an impression on my site I get 1 cent but if this was the real case I would be making a few euros a day.
