Hey don't worry at all.:) The owner of this directory is one of the top directory owners here. Most probably he is sleeping now. So let him come online and he will definitely list you if you have a quality site. If he rejects your site-surely he will resolve it.

Just keep cool.

No, the title of the site submitted is

#1 Naxos Greece Directory

And apparently phplb does not recognize the symbol as fitting into any of the categories

Very true, I faced similar problem with its 1.0 version... wherein it was not able to execute sql command properly.

There are two glitches with the script

and putting a non alpha numerical is one of them.

so preceding something like '1 best directory' with a ''#1 best directory will cause an error where your site will go unlisted, because they way the script works, it has to be alphanumeric.

This actually happened on Sunday as well and I took care of it. with btqm.com

I haven't received any emails regarding your issue, but being notified by alternative peers your issues was resolved in 2 minutes.

Sorry for any inconvenience or doubt it may have caused you.

Also, always feel free to contact me.

Well, I figure that I post the bugs that I've known about for quite some time.

Bug #1:

Title's beginning with non-alphanumeric values basically goto hell.. e.g. nowhere.

Bug #2:

A lot of you guys always try and find the shortcut, and are putting #'s in front of your site's REAL name. Well here is news for you;

If there are more sites that have a numerical value that what the current pagination is set to, then page 2 will NOT list the rest of them.

Ex:
pagination = 5 per page
I have 50 listings beginning with a number (0-9)

well, only 5 will show no more.

So I advise you guys to instead of trying to find a shortcut, to stop posting numerical values to get on a page that would take less to bid on. I will probably start renaming sites accordingly unless your site actually does in fact start with a numerical value such as: http://www.1stopdir.com does.
That website DOES belong in the numerical section, and so does http://www.10directory.com but all of the rest DO NOT.

This post is NOT directed at any single individual. It is generally speaking.

as you can see my bid was big enought for the letter category but i dont want my sites to compete each other. So i have http://www.naxos-rooms.com in n category, http://www.korali-hotels.com in k category, and http://www.naxos-directory.com in # category is not fair? rep added for the quick responce.

I can understand what you are saying and where you are coming from. I did it myself when I was bidding quite often, but I never entered the numerical section since there was better anchor rich keywords to add to the titles to put me into a different quality letter.

What really needs to be done is Tekime needs to start fixing his bugs instead of making MODs.

Yesterday I noticed the same thing..
My site was listed in "#" category with title something like "1st web directory"
As my site moved to next page due to higher bids than me, my directory disappeared.
So it seems some pagination problem.

I PMed an0n and issue was resolved within seconds. :)

ok issue #2 i felt i owe it to those who have bid; to fix it myself and not wait for tekime to support his script and do it, so i took 15 mins to go over it (found out some other stuff too hahaha) and now pagination works for numericals.

Ok, I had a few minutes to spare so I went ahead and fixed bug #1 as well.

if you try to submit with non-alphanumeric characters in your title, your link will not be processed and you will get a nice little warning error so you know what you did wrong:

fixing bugs beats smoking cigs. same amount of time but fixing bugs is healthier hahaha :p

When are you upgrading to a categorized structure? This letter scheme offers little to none co-citation value. :)

I have noticed that also. Submitters shouldn't put a symbol like that, it won't be listed in any category.
