Apart from a pink ipod and a cannon camera or laptop how many other products do chitika have ?
I have dozens of different sites but cant find any chitika ads that match.
Is anyone running keyword ads for other products ?

Hi dct i have tried that but keep drawing a blank.
Any ideas for non electrical keywords ?
I have just tried TRAVEL and got "Jogger, Double / Twin Seats, 5-Point Harness, Reclining Back baby buggy"

Must admit I have been more electrical stuff, you can try looking at what's on Amazon or Shopping.com and searching for those. They both have a large variety of products.

The keyword you use has to be pretty specific (ie the product's actual name). For instance, on a hair loss page I use "rogaine" and "rogaine 5%". Using "hair loss" gives a blank.
Hope that helps :)

Yup, product names work a lot better than general categories. As mentioned, check shopping.com and then insert a list of product names. My site has a search box on top which is pretty fast.

Make your keywords specific and you'll be set. Many times I have added full product names. Go to shopping.com or amazon.com and search for products then go to chitika.com and type in the product you've found in the sample ad box. If the right product turns up, you can use that as a keyword.

What I did was:
- Find a particular advertiser that carries lots of products in your niche(advertiser name should show on the chitika ad). For my case I picked PETsMART
- Go to advertiser's site and find exact product names
- Try the product name in Chitika.
Works for me, returning the exact product I need.

I currently show mostly clothing ads and motorcycle gear, so far they seem to work with amazon, shop.com, shopping.com, art.com and more.

When I first saw your post I thought you meant ad format. According to my Adsense vs Chitika comparison table (http://www.experienced-people.co.uk/1098-affiliate-programs/chitika-adsense.htm) there are 10 Chitika formats and 11 Adsense ones. But, I see that you meant inventory.
This is tricky. Yes, they have a smaller inventory than Adwords and it's a pain having to find products/keywords that work on your page. That kinda defeats the purpose, is too time consuming, and may not be worth doing on a page by page basis. But, have you tried rotating keywords (http://www.experienced-people.co.uk/1098-affiliate-programs/4.htm#rotatingads)? It may take a while for Chitika to work out what pays best on your site... but this does involve less work on your part.
