Well you might get a few different opinions around here about RegisterFly.com...
But any of DomainSite, NameCheap, GoDaddy and DynaDot all provide good service at a decent price. I have most of my domains at GoDaddy and DomainSite.

I prefer namecheap because of the ease of use but GoDaddy is also good. Both have ease of transfer if you sell a domain.
I would avoid Ipower at all cost because they are next to impossible to transfer a domain to a new owner because they require a lot of offline paperwork where parties have to sign a contract and get it notarized. This could take weeks to sell a domain. Avoid resellers too because they normally do not offer very good support.

I transfer all my domain names to godaddy ..so far I have no problems.. Godaddy has an info. sale for .99cents. Which you probably already know? Namecheap is ok but my preference if godaddy. I have never had that problem with Ipower..I get my transfer with out the paper work. Anyway, do avoid Ipower cus they do suck!.

You can transfer to another register company but if you try to sell a domain to someone else you can not transfer ownership Online like you can with GoDaddy or NameCheap. You have to file all kinds of paperwork. I learned the hard way. I thought you could push to someone else and I lost a sale because they did not want to wait for me to transfer to GoDaddy first then push to them.

domainsite.com and name.com are the same company. They own 2 registrars
moniker is an excellent suggestion too but no way close to godaddy for my 1200+ domains

It's not solely subjective, though. For example, it is a fact the regfly sucks!

do all these registers accept PAYPAL .......... ?
domnom
May 28th 2007, 9:53 am
Both domainsite.com and name.com accept paypal
Forgot to mention that both these registrars don't charge (or at least show as extra) the ICANN fee to look cheaper as GoDaddy does
So their $6.99 is final without coupons, addon icann fee or paypal extra charge
My advice if you have a lot of domains is to register with domainsite, later renew/transfer with name. Name.com charge $5.99 for transfers and it's the same company so the transfer proceed smoothly

Godaddy is No1!
I don't know what number GoMammy is but they must start thinking about the reliability of their services and their support team before spend another cent at superbowl or any other marketing expense
My average response time is 3 days. Nearly all my support tickets are forwarded to their 'advanced dept.' with total 24H the first and average 48H the second, total 3 days to get a simple reply
I don't use anymore GoMammy especially after their unprofessional decision that lead that guy at the launch of the www.nodaddy.com site
I use only TDNAM to sell few of my names

Moniker is the best. Godaddy and Namecheap are not bad either. I have also had some stories about namecheap accounts getting stolen, although I cant imagine how that could happen!
