View Full Version : Is Chitika trying to give me a bleeding ulcer?

I'm already suffering from a bad case of checking my adsense stats constantly, but it's getting really bad with Chitika, not only do they just update the stats once a day which is hard enough to overcome, but for the last I don't know how many days they have been seriously delayed. Don't get me wrong they are showing some nice numbers when they finally appear, but I've been sitting constantly for the last few hours reloading the stats page to see if my effords with my pages are paying off and I'm soon running out of cigarettes and coffee.

Sorry, just had to let out some frustration!

Yes, I am seeing no reports for yesterday yet.

Maybe there weren't fully prepared for the response they'd get to their service...

I agree, checking my Chitika stats has become part of my morning ritual...

I am on EST time. i noticed yeterday that stats were updated after 10:00 or 11:00 AM.

Everyone is talking about Chitika lately. I would not be suprised if AOL or Google tries to buy them.

Yesterday they updated around 11 AM EST and had a notice about them being delayed, nothing like that today yet.

I agree they might be surprised by the popularity, I'd still like my stats though :)

Finaly atleast some information:

FAQ: Why am I not able to see yesterday's stats?
Reports are updated on a daily basis. Every day, at 3:00 AM in the morning (US EST) the data (access logs) will start getting processed so that we can update the stats for the previous day. However, the process usually takes approximately 3-12 hours to complete. So you can expect to see the stats for the previous day after 3:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time) or so the following day. We are working on speeding up the process so that we can shorten the turnaround time. We thank you for your support and co-operation.

I wonder what time that is in GMT +1.

BTW, ulcers are caused by bacteria... not stress, adsense or chitika ;)

I'm a stats junkie and unix geek, not a doctor :D

Yes, but bacteria are welcome in a stressed out body (by Adsense and Chitika)!
