You can find many article directories by typing article directories in google, my favorites are isnare.com articledashboard.com ideamarketers.com

Press release is more beneficial if you submit a good article that many will accept, but article submission is much easier to get accepted for pretty much anything.

Strive for press releases but do not put all of your efforts in to it.
