Updates Lag

Anyone else ever notice that there is a lag between updating each catagory of the report?

I can have up to 20 or more clicks not counted in the "today" tab, while if I run a report check on "all time" they will show up.

I found it pretty odd- since its already in the form of data, why would it take more time to display- wouldnt they be getting the information from the same place?

AdSense is the same way. My guess is they use clusters of servers to break up the load. So some machines are used for showing just "today" (since that is going to be the heaviest load), and others show the other reports. Or that general idea at least.

Ok, that does make sense- I had noticed it on my Adsense accounts too- which actually made me check Adwords (and they were doing the same thing.)
