Is CJ running late on payments?

I keep checking my payment status and it says:
Last Payment $X.X USD Sent on 1-Sep-2005
It's a month and a half already.
Is anybody else experiencing this?

The last check I received was the one sent on 1-Sep-2005 for my July earnings. I did make more money in all the past months (Aug, Sept).

I also have about $500 pending that hasn't been sent yet. It's usually sent out on time, except for last month. This month is definitely well behind the normal.

Why am I always hearing bad things about CJ. Each time I go to sign up with them, I pace back and forth on whether or not I should blow $250 and receive access to their datafeeds.

Then I get distracted and forget about signing up. Oh well, I guess that's a good thing.

I thought CJ payments were on the 20th or so of each month? That's when we get ours.

I dont know why is taking so long, like I said, my last payment was Sept 1st. and I've made enough money to receive a check.

The last one I received was mailed on September 1st as well, and I'm definitely due a check this month.

CJ's never been late on payments (or has warned me that it would be a few days late).

I do have a beginning balance too (August earnings) plus my commissions for September, so I should receive a check (Aug. + Sept. earnings) before the end of this month.
I hope I dont have to carry these beginning balances anymore.

Here's the response I got from CJ today:

Your account shows that on 10/19/05, $501.35 USD was approved and will be paid on your next check, scheduled to be sent out to you by the end of the month.

Sometimes you will have a beginning balance on a given month because Pending Commissions (that are "New" are recent transactions that have generated a commission) have yet to be reviewed and approved by the advertiser. In order to protect the advertiser from possible fraud, order cancellations or returns, the advertiser has the opportunity to review transactions to make sure they are valid.

"Extended" means that the advertiser has requested another 30 days in which to make a decision - advertisers may do this once for each transaction. Commissions that are not extended or corrected are "Locked" on the 10th of each month. "Locked" commissions will, more than likely, roll into the commission balance that will be paid out on or around the 20th of each month. Once a payment has been processed the "Balance" is reduced accordingly.
