Since Chitika seems to be sort of new and there's not all that much information on "testing" I thought I would post one test that has TRIPLED my CTR, and doubled my earnings overnight, and rising.
My experiment was to feature a line of products by the same maker, and use the ones with the most eye catching graphics. I picked the company, chose some of their top selling products, and made sure those key words were in there.
The plan was to alternate lines of products... So one week, it's all Sony Products, the next Apple, etc...
This works especially well for a site that gets repeat visitors or if you have a daily feature people come back for (blogs, comics, reviews)
My suggestion would be to make your own little keyword list in a notepad file, and every now and then, change it up and see how the numbers go for your site.
