PM from a banned user ???

I received a PM just a couple minutes ago. This message makes me curious because this PM is from a banned user. Since I'm new in this forum I'd like to ask whether a banned user is allowed to send a message or not.

and I receive this message.

I have seen some banned members post.

Are you sure he didnt got banned after the pm was send ?

Some times the status of the user takes time to change

He might be unbanned but his status remains same for some time !!

Or he might have sent it before his ban

I'm not sure if he got banned after sending those message.
However, this guy is not even the thread maker where I asked an approval and that really increasing my concern.

I have seen posts from banned users, not PM's though. I too would like to find out how this works.

The VB bug let user back in. User made one post this morning. Thanks for the alert.
