Well when u target ads on website ... Conversion Depends on the website Nechie. The Ad should reflect the website content. Only then it would perform well.
If you can mention your website and the ads you are running presently it would be easy to know what may be the exact reason for the lead ratio.

1 in 2500 might not be bad if your paying less then 1 cent (like adbrite interstitials) but the offer converts to a 10$ deal.
if its just standard web traffic... thats pretty bad.

no the traffic were mostly free in a way that i did not pay for them because they were from my own website. but i could have sold those impressions to a CPM based advertiser..
anyways for some reason it says invalid login/password when i try to log into azoogle... it was working fine then i logged out and tried to log back in like an hour later.. i tried recovering my password but it said invalid request....
does it mean i have been banned?...

if you have adsense ads on your page and send traffic using interstitials, even if you dont get conversions on what you are selling, you might get adsense clicks. this way i do not lose any money.
just my 2 cents for people using adbrite

I think you miss how adbrite interstitials work though.. they only display for 5 seconds (your page) and its framed out. Most Adsense will show PSA on a adbrite framed interstitial page.

i knew what i was getting myself into when i created a intersitial campaign. it seems to be doing ok for me though, as i am getting a fair amount of adsense clicks
in the adsense reports it shows the correct channel, and the money is coming in. I believe PSA ads do not pay...correct?
you think i could get in trouble with adsense?

I dont think you will get in trouble with adsense... you just wont get paid. Would be best to make sure you have a alternate add to show when adsense PSA's do not *cough* auctionads *cough*

i am sorry if this seems like a repetitive question.
if PSA ad gets clicked on, what would i see in my reports in adsense? would i see a big fat 0 no matter how many clicks i got, or would i see clicks, CTR and eCPM, plus the total amount in earnings.
if what you say is 100% correct and all of my ads shown on adbrite framed page are PSA ads, why would adsense show me that i am making money

That is a good question. Maybe its in the adsense forum somewhere.

Ive had it pretty bad, 800 clicks from Google - no leads. 0.50+ a click. :)
but it was a review page reviewing three different products, but still. 800 is crazy

Try making it clear what you're offering in your ad copy... If it requires a sign up, say it does, if it requires a credit card, say so...
Volumes may or may not go down, but you'll save money on shitty clicks.

The only probelm with that is CTR may drop. CTR is pretty important, especially in the beginning.

The only way to surpass that misteak of gettin crap CTR, is using newer offers for cheap PPC and learning to target your customers better. This is why marketing isn't easy, because if it were, those fortune 500 and other businesses wouldn't be paying us to get vaild leads for cheap. Yea, we may get about 2 bucks for a simple email submit, but to target a vaild lead threw PPC would take alot more than 2 bucks, this is why advertising companies pay us :).

It’s been a month since I last posted about my test, and wow, yes the theroy works! We’ve gotten thousands of clicks and and conversions. The big trick to this isn’t just putting up any slap together banner and any old keywords / phrases! You need to have a really good keyword list. I wrote a program to do just that. I just finished a new keyword list of over 50,000 of the highest paying keyword / phrases list of misspelled words! My previous test worked pretty darn good of an old batch that I had used. If anyone is interested in them please let me know, my email address: scubadu@gmail.com I’m selling them for 4.95 and only selling them to three people. Also if your interested I can create any catagory you would like of keywords / phrases along with top rated banners.
