Wow, why would anyone pay that amount for 70virgins.com? I mean, couldnt they just have bought 69vigins.com? 71? Am I missing something here?

SEDO just e-mailed today to say they received the funds and NOW is transfer time.
so, it can take some time.
you have to keep us updated please.
11K for 70virgins.com - WOW!

70 virgins is a punishment not a reward. (http://mensnewsdaily.com/archive/p/parks/02/parks032902.htm)
One for me is a handful. Having to walk on eggshells when your woman is having one of her moods. Not knowing what to say and what not to say. Not knowing what wrong word will set the "tone" for the foreseeable future. Is it something you said, something you did? Is it something you forgot? Is it something you were supposed to do a certain way? Was there a misinterpretation along the way? Why didn’t you realize that was what she was feeling and why? Even if an apology isn’t warranted, do you offer one anyway? Are you ready to be accused of being insensitive or patronizing? Will some sexy offering on your part solve or exacerbate the problem?
Now multiply that by 70. Ouch.

Could be something different.. Middle Eastern terror organizations (PLO, Osama bin Laden, and so on) tell their people that shahids (martyrs) will get the personal services of 70 or so virgins when they go to Paradise. found it here: http://www.stentorian.com/politics/terror/virgins.html

Well yea, that is what it refers to.. the 70 virgins received as a reward for martyrs.

Looks like it isn't going to happen, sedo has been unsuccesful in attemping to cotact the buyer :(

That's too bad Henny - sorry it didn't work out .... this time.
If you really think the domain is worth that ballpark figure, it might be worth doing a press release about it and generate some buzz.

wow I honestly would have not imagined 70virgins.com to have that much in it :)
edit: you sure the buyer didn't think he was getting a 2 week vacation with 70 virgins in Hawaii? ;)
edit: didn't see the last few posts here, sorry :(

I had that happen last time I sold a domain on Sedo. After about a month, they transferred the domain to themselves (Sedo) and released to funds to me. They said they'd take it from there.

I have 7 domains right now with sedo. Just started out. Bcoz i am angry at domain brokers. They just gulp down good domains. So i also thought to Ki*k some of theirs.
