View Full Version : Getting less traffic from Google than before

Even though the numer of pages indexed is the same. It was much lower for week or two but over the last couple of days, the indexing has been full. However, traffic is much lower than previously when the index was full. My rankings seem to be similar.

Seems like your keyword popularity must be dropping.. so less people are searching for those specific words.

You mean the number of searches. Possibly. Then again, I use to get traffic for so many differnt keywords taht, maybe, some of those keywords have dropped positions.

Yes, the number of searches. Try checking the keyword popularity through overture or whatever tool you use (as long as they show updated results..) and you'll see..

Actually, the several keywords that I particularly like to follow provide pretty much the same number of searches every month at least according to overture.

Check to see if any of your pages were placed in Supplementals.

i have the same problem. i have started to think that the reason may be http://www.seobythesea.com/?p=613 . according to that google has changed pr calculating way

I think I might be suffering the same thing on one of my sites. Much lower traffic over the past few days. Will keep an eye on it.

traffic is weird for me these days.
