Hi, i'm just wondering how valuable is it to your business? Will it help you gain expert status since you put out your name there?

Branding your business's name is vital for success since people will associate te name with some sort of image (whatever you are trying to portray)

Branding is extremely important . . . and that's why people spend a lot of time choosing the right name for their business (online or offline).
Speaking from a web perspective you can only have one searchengine.com but call yourself Google, create a kick butt search engine, and spread the word around and that brand can become very well known.

I agree. Branding is EXTREMELY important and probably one of the most overlooked aspects of internet marketing.

I spend HOURS and HOURS trying to find a brand name :) if I didn't think it was important I wouldn't do that!

Absolutely it's very essential. Who would've thought a name like YouTube would be worth a ton of money if it wasn't branded?
