Guys,

I would like to start some discussion about domain names parking - I hope this is a right subforum to start!

I'm using both Sedo and ND and so far pro's and contra's are;

SEDO PRO;

BETTER PPC rate - avg rate is somewhat 0.06 Eur while on ND it is 0.01 - admit it, it is a big difference
Better stats, aldo it doesn't mean too much to me
In general better advertising options - I would say Sedo has more diverse ads

SEDO CONTRA;

Bad look of the templates, poor customising options, bad photos - for me this is the biggest minus
A bit confusing navigation on the site, but OK I can live with it
Keyword match is not always accurate - for example what do I need Dental Clinic or University ad on adult domain?!? However it is not that bad...

NameDrive PRO;

Good overall look of the templates, good optimisation options, easy management - this is the main reason I joined the program
Seems they can drive traffic better (if they do it, maybe I have better names there), however, since their templates look better CTR is also better, but they pay far less!!
Good keywords optimization
They can build your site for you if you have a good domain name - you should park at least for 1 month with them and then submit the site names for review - don't know how it works yet (parked with them less than month) but sounds very interesting - anybody use it already?

NameDrive CONTRA;

Low CPC - low earnings! Sometimes I see that the click has been initialy recorded as it made 0.11 Eur and then the 'real' earnings have been recalculated to 0.02...don't like that!!!

That is the only contra I actually have..low EPC.

I would really appreciate your opinion on this!! Good luck with your sites!!

ND is out of the game for me
They don't look very determined, going at a downgrade course

Sedo is fine for international traffic due to their auto geo-ip interface

For now i use ParkingPanel.com and i can say they are very good (so far)
I always say "so far" because you know that parking companies are not usually a solid issue, some start with the best case scenario and end like namedrive

Well as i said before i like parkingpanel, i saw clicks up $0.50
The grey parts are that they don't accept everybody, they require someone to refer you otherwise they delay or don't accept you at all (i can help to this refer you to their service) and the last weeks their stats are not up to date (late 1-2 days)

I will not put my hand over the fire for them but they gave the best results and serious domainers turn their interest to them lately
Check them out and report back

If you need any help regarding the refer at their signup form send me a PM

Check out fabulous. I have over 300 parked with them, but I was recruited into their service. You can try though. Most clicks are about $.25 with the average being somewhere around $.75.

Fabulous is good too
Was much better when there was no problem with the gambling domains in US but now dropped a bit

As far as earnings go, you can debate which on e is better, but if you're looking for offers while you're at it, Sedo is the way to go.

I do use parked.com and namedrive.com for my own domains.

But sometimes the parking performs on the theme of the domain names you are pointing.

Thanks for this constructive input to all of you - I have checked Fabulous and ParkingPanel and both of them look good. I wonder which one is better for adult and gambling domains? (that is 80% of my domain portfolio) Sedo is performing quite good on adult domains, but I really really don't like their graphs interface...ugly..and ugly..and boring.

Well there is no really better in parking companies (except namedrive that nearly all of other companies are better)
Fabulous.com is better for gambling names (even if they are deep down now with the new US legitation)
ParkingPanel.com is better for adult with very good templates , nice interface (a little bit heavy to old computers) good rates

anyone has any comment about godaddy cashparking?

GoMammy has focused on end-users and low volume or forced to sign there domainers(to be able to push the names they sell easier)

He knows that by charging them a monthly fee will get more than from sharing the parking revenue.
Search the forum(s) and you will see that GoMammy parking is not an option for all of the forumers, better go to a decent service than the crappy GoMammy

I still like SedoPro a lot because the PPC is more than the others (at least for me it is).
Have been trying ParkingPanel recently, but the Click Thru Rate is decreasing compare to the Click Thru Rate when the domains were parked with Sedo. I think there is something to do with the template.

Maybe is the template but i believe it's the feed they use
They don't bring many results compared with sedo's google feeds
That makes sometime Parkingpanel better because we all know that Google don't consider parked pages a valuable resource other times is bad because people don't see a relevant ad to click.

Some are better than others, yes, but a lot depends on the domain and the aggregator.

I have had low traffic high CTR domains SMOKE on Skenzo but some higher traffic ones not do so well. Google parking service seems to do well for those domains that have a lot of traffic but don't seem to get many clicks or much rev per click. Domain Sponsor has always been consistent for me. I have never seen Sedo work well except for international domains.

I used Traffic Club to optimize at one point but they lost Domain Sponsor and Google...

I am getting greater then 30% CTR for a domain parked with Sedo, so no complaints.
