Hi everybody
I have purchased ghostscripter, and installed it. I get all kinds of errors, most images dont' work etc.

I have emailed them twice, and it has been over 2 weeks, didn't get any replies.

Does anybody have any experience with ghostscripter amazon affiliate script?

What's your recommendations? Should I keep working on it, and install properly, or try to get a refund, and move to another script?

any help is appreciated.
Thanks

I don't recommend or use ghostscripter's stuffs mostly due to the problem you're facing - they don't answer emails!

Here is one I would recommend you use instead. It's free and probably the best there is right now: http://www.mrrat.com/aws/

I think Nintendo on this board offers a mod-rewrite for it.

Those seem like awfully expensive errors. ($110 dollars! wow...)

Your welcome to post your errors in my forum (http://www.ezaws.com/forum/). Even though it's not my script, I'll be happy to help out.

Optimus Prime, thank you for your help offer, but GTech went behind helping, and fixed all the problems for me. I'd like to thank GTech for the greates, and friendliest help.

Optimus, I have checked your script, and it looks great, I will definitely purchase a license for another amazon shop project very soon.

A quick question. I have used site a.com to signup for amazon associates program, but I can use my affiliate id on my other sites without contacting amazon right? (just like adsense).
I want to make sure since I haven't used amazon aff. before.
Thanks

IIRC they ask you to add the site to your site description or something like that. You do need to do something to add a new site, but it is not a submission/aproval process. It is their faq which you should check.

If you want to see which products are being sold through each of your stores, you can request a separate tracking ID for each web site. I use separate tracking IDs and it does help to tell you what is working and what is not.

Thank you all for your help. I have read their TOS, and sent them an email with my other URL's for seperate tracking ID's.

Im afraid to say while it all looked good having purchased the GhostScripter Amazon store product, there is absolutely no help from their support team (although you do get a quick response if you have a sales query....!)

I am having trouble with the mod rewrite feature, which is a requirement if you want to get up the search rankings. The links to other pages on the site work fine, but all the image links on the featured and hot products pages dont work. They seem to try to load:
http://mysite.com/products/images/uk/http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/21j9X%2B3BDSL.jpg
instead of just:
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/21j9X%2B3BDSL.jpg

The links do work on the product info pages however!

I tried changing the link in the source file, but that seems ok, and also checked in the htaccess file, but any changes didnt seem to make any difference:

RewriteRule ^products/images/uk/(.*).jpg$ http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/$1.jpg

Can anyone else help?Gtech, you seem to have some good reviews!!
Thanks in advance
