Hi all,

Please tell me that how helpful the yahoo directory traffic wise. Means how many traffic yahoo directory deliver to a particular site.

Depends on keywords the site is ranked for. It also depends on position in first page.

Yahoo sends alot less traffic than google. Not sure if the ads on yahoo get more clicks. For some reason yahoo never sends the amount of traffic google sends for same rank or keywords.

he was talking about the directory lol - its mostly good to get a good PR backlink but i doubt it'll bring you more traffic than their search engine

It will not help outstandingly, but it deffinetly wont be waste of your time..I agree with njocker`s opinion!

btw its expensive too - $300 a year for a directory link - and its not even 100% guaranteed listing - i'd never be that rich to do it, unless i find a way to get into bill gate's will haha :)

Why would you spend money if your traffic is not 100% guaranteed.

My opinion is that you do get traffic, but not that much. I will personally not spend the money on listing a site there again.

I dont think it's alots if compare to google anyway. But if you can get listed for free that great. If you paid for it, hope you got a good trafic from it.

I suggest you use yahoo search marketing to drive your traffic. And the traffic you get is instant and predictable.

I never need to buy traffic, I just make my website interesting then so many people will visit my website

Yahoo Directories are a good way to build back links...that would attract more webmaster to exchange link with you (as you may receive higher PR)..

I have not done it. $299 without a guarantee placement is too much for my little affiliate website.
