I'm looking for ads that you can have with adsense on the same page without breaking the TOS like Kontera. Any ideas?
EDIT: Also can Kontera send checks to Australia ? Or is only in the US.

Actually, almost any other kind of ads such as banners or sold text links can be added as long as they do not act, behave or look like adsense. So in short, it should not be keyword targetted such as its competitor Yahoo Publisher Network (YPN).

In order to prevent user confusion, we do not permit Google ads or search boxes to be published on websites that also contain other ads or services formatted to use the same layout and colors as the Google ads or search boxes on that site. Although you may sell ads directly on your site, it is your responsibility to ensure these ads cannot be confused with Google ads.


I sold text links and used Commission Junction Banner Ads without any issues.

You can place any links other than PPC that similar to adsense..

Maybes ExoClick (review (http://adsense4dummies.blogspot.com/2007/03/exoclick-good-low-payout-pay-per-click.html)) - some of their ads have little thumbnail images next to them by default so they look different to AdSense. Don't pay as much as AdSense (not that anyone does) but they can be safely be used alongside as a complimentary revenue source.
