Can i promote my adsense site through social networking sites

I have adsense ads in my site. I recently learnt that it is possible to promote websites through socail networking sites like orkut,friendster,myspace ,etc.,

What i want to know is agaisnt google adsense TOS. Will google ban my adsense account if i promote my adsense site through orkut. Is it against Adsense TOS.

Please help me in this regard.

Well, you can promote your website as long as the traffic are natural, meaning that no one is forced to visit yourself for any reasons other than their own free will. Also as long as you do not force or suggest that anyone clicks the ads, you be fine.
