AdSense impressions question

With AdSense when there are multiple ad units on a page does each display of the ad unit count as an impression or does it count as one impression. So if there are three ad units on a single page and some one views that page does that count as three impressions or just one?

This is also my question and another one is: does ads impression also a factor of earning calculation?

It's counted as 1 impressions for all ads displayed on a page, but if you drill down the channels you will see individual impressions.

Sometimes they average out the impressions/channels. Since some channels show uneven data because some ads are never shown to the user, example: Public service ads, ads blocked by users, page not fully loaded etc
