Chikita is the first program I've heard which people seem really excited about since adsense. Has anyone experiences earning more money from Chikita than adsense?

looks like chitika at the moment does not offer non-product oriented ads
as opposed to adsense. so their ads may not be well optimized with some contents.

I posted this in another thread:
I've almost completely changed to chitika now, I struggled to meet my goal ($50/day) with adsense and never actually got above $44, no matter how many visitors I got - and I get quite a lot, I kept getting 0.3 clicks.
With chitika I'm now averaging $70 a day and I'm sure I'll reach $100/day soon by finding new products and adding ads to more pages.
The extra dosh will be saved up for now. The dream is to be able to buy a house somewhere warm :)

I use a combination of chitika and adsense at the same time. It seems like my adsense earnings have not changed but on top of that chitika works a treat.

There isn't an easy answer as to which pays more. Chitika does not suit all sites/webmasters. If you have a travel affiliate site and want to just stick some contextual ads on there you're best off with Adsense.
Chitika is very product based. If your pages would be a good location to host an ad for the specific products located at shopping.com/amazon.com then you're likely to be well rewarded with Chitika. Particularly if you're willing to do some research and set the keywords/products for each ad you place.
The site in my sig should provide more info on Chitika vs Adsense if you're interested.

I have actually been earning more from Chitika so far.

As always, you won't get a correct answer since it depends on many things. For example, you won't be earning the same per click from a site that sells magazines than from one that has information about computers.
Just give it a try... I, as many here, have had very good results from chitika and couldn't be happier, it is a nice extra income I wasn't counting on, and it will be buying me some nice new clothes each month :D

Interesting.
Can i use it together with adsense on one page or should i use adsense for page a and chitika for page b?

You can use them together on the same page as long as you set the Chitika ads to be in non-contextual mode. (it comes that way by default, so you don't have to do anything). Then you can simply specify your keywords and you are all set! I run both on the same page. Chitika makes about 15% of what google makes me, but hey that is 15% boost and the ads are cool!

When I pick out my keywords, I just use the demo ad Chitika has on their home page to do a search. Then I can try really specific keywords and see if they have any products for them.

Their premnium e-minimall looks pretty good. They search for something but if they don't like it they dont click it and stay on your page

The Premium package is working out for me so much better than the standard package used to.
I'm pretty excited about the new program.
Much of my traffic is SE related, however.
So, when somebody sees my ad unit, they were already searching for that product.

To compare it to adsense you really have to look at what kind of website you have it one. On one certain kind of website Chitika will do better, and on another Adsense will do better.
Usually for money making sites adsense will not perform as well because people know what those ads are and don't click them as much.

I use both on high traffic sites, none pay out too great, but adsense is the better one I think.

well if you could drive traffic from search engine and from US/CAN, you can have a good earning from chitika premium ads.

I am currently using Adsense, I find that traffic is more comfortable and familiar with clicking on it.
But chitika is fresh and quite exciting. Also I love the fact that if youve bookmarked a site with chitika, when you go to that site it hides the adverts (leaving onlly adsense).
But both are compatible with each other so Im trying them both out.

In general, Adsense will always be the top choice for publishers but in some of my niches Chitika Premium is doing much better than Adsense. If you want to maximize your earnings, you should try everthing you can to monetize, pay atention and stick with what works for you.

I recently added Chitika to some of my blogs and I'm quite satisfied with the results. Still, for me, AdSense remains on top spot.

Chitika is really special because they are targeting search strings. That makes sure that you are getting as relevant ads as possible.

Use them together. The key is not to use them separate but together.

Chitika|Premium actually works very well when combined with AdSense. Since our Chitika ads only display when someone comes to your site via search engines (and collapse when they come directly), the Chitika ad is very well targeted to your visitors' search terms, and the AdSense ads are nice general ads. Try both together, and I think you'll see a nice bump in revenues.

For Chitika does it matter if your visitor rate is high or low?

The comparison should moreover be Chitika vs AdBrite, to which I think AdBrite would win and I've been using Chitika for over a year now and have just recently switched my entire network over to AdBrite and I'm seeing more money coming in. However in my mind, there is no comparison with AdSense, they simply cater for all and win in every aspect.

Interesting. I haven't tried adbrite yet. I'm not making money on adsense and I've pulled it down from my site several times already. I also tested chitika in the past. But after a month, I've pulled it down, too.
Will sign up for adbrite and see how things go. Thanks for this info.

I think, they don't have large numbers of advertisers to distribute much ads for publishers.
Do Chitika accepts paid traffic (PTC)?

Chitika ads are displayed in usa,uk,canada and some more countries and on the other hand adsense ads are displayed worldwide... so adsense will pay much and hence adsense is better!
