Chikita is the first program I've heard which people seem really excited about since adsense. Has anyone experiences earning more money from Chikita than adsense?

looks like chitika at the moment does not offer non-product oriented ads
as opposed to adsense. so their ads may not be well optimized with some contents.

I posted this in another thread:

I've almost completely changed to chitika now, I struggled to meet my goal ($50/day) with adsense and never actually got above $44, no matter how many visitors I got - and I get quite a lot, I kept getting 0.3 clicks.

With chitika I'm now averaging $70 a day and I'm sure I'll reach $100/day soon by finding new products and adding ads to more pages.

The extra dosh will be saved up for now. The dream is to be able to buy a house somewhere warm :)

I use a combination of chitika and adsense at the same time. It seems like my adsense earnings have not changed but on top of that chitika works a treat.

There isn't an easy answer as to which pays more. Chitika does not suit all sites/webmasters. If you have a travel affiliate site and want to just stick some contextual ads on there you're best off with Adsense.

Chitika is very product based. If your pages would be a good location to host an ad for the specific products located at shopping.com/amazon.com then you're likely to be well rewarded with Chitika. Particularly if you're willing to do some research and set the keywords/products for each ad you place.

The site in my sig should provide more info on Chitika vs Adsense if you're interested.

I have actually been earning more from Chitika so far.

As always, you won't get a correct answer since it depends on many things. For example, you won't be earning the same per click from a site that sells magazines than from one that has information about computers.

Just give it a try... I, as many here, have had very good results from chitika and couldn't be happier, it is a nice extra income I wasn't counting on, and it will be buying me some nice new clothes each month :D

Here is a catalog of Chitika Keywords grouped by category:

https://chitika.com/catalog.php

And "Auto Parts and Accessories, Automotive Security Systems , New Cars, Used Cars" are included.

So you probably should sign-up (https://chitika.com/mm_overview.php).

Interesting.
Can i use it together with adsense on one page or should i use adsense for page a and chitika for page b?

You can use them together on the same page as long as you set the Chitika ads to be in non-contextual mode. (it comes that way by default, so you don't have to do anything). Then you can simply specify your keywords and you are all set! I run both on the same page. Chitika makes about 15% of what google makes me, but hey that is 15% boost and the ads are cool!

When I pick out my keywords, I just use the demo ad Chitika has on their home page to do a search. Then I can try really specific keywords and see if they have any products for them.
