Guys,

I have lots of unrelated websites in various different categories like Music, Film, Art, Politics, Web Design. Most of the websites have strong backlinks but only like 5-10 pages of content.

I am not sure what to do with them?

What I want is links from home & garden websites.

How can I use these unrelated websites to boost rankings of my home & garden websites?

I have tried so far, selling links on TLA. And use that money to purchase relevant links. Not a big success - not many people are buying links from me

Participating in link exchanges like ReceiveLinks, BackLinks etc. - I get lots of points but not many relevant websites for me in the system.

I haven't tried yet asking people around in the forums for exchange etc..

Do you think its worth?

What other options do I have?

Can I fool Search engines by hosting a page about garden on my websites with pointing links to the websites I want to promote?

Thanks

Thanks guys for suggesting directories..Do you mean building the directory on the top of the PR4 domain? And the directory would accept the niche sites - if yes, then what's the difference between building a niche directory and selling links? I still have a problem of finding people who would actually buy the link.

If its a generic directory, then the backlink that point to that domain name will not be supporting the PR because the content will be unrelated.

Another option, setup a new web directory and point all the PR4 domains towards that?

Let me know your thoughts.

Try Quality industry specific web directories it will defiantly help. On TLA find websites which are industry specific, have good alexa rank and ranked good on google for specific keywords.
100% guaranteed way, just try it!

Have a separate category for those sites (e.g. miscellaneous, others, etc.).

Sell links on those and buy links for the home and garden

Or try 3 way exchanges
